Biographies
Liam Ryan, Director
Liam is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years’ experience as an Accountant in Public Practice. During his career in Public Practice, Liam specialised in Corporate Finance and has wide experience in Business Planning and Company Development issues.
Liam is a Non-Executive Director of a number of Private Companies and Business Consultant to Foreign Direct Investment Companies, large SMEs, Professional Bodies and Public Sector entities.
Liam is a Collaborative Practitioner and facilitates and assists in the settlement of non-litigious disputes.
Sarita Johnston, Director, Business Planning
Sarita has over 25 years strategic business development experience. Throughout her career in both the Public Sector and Private Sector, she specialised in Business Plan Development, Due Diligence, Financial Analysis, Strategic Investment Plans, Interim Management and Business Development.
Sarita is an Advisor and Consultant to a number of private companies across a broad range of sectors in the Private Sector. Her portfolio includes companies raising early stage seed investment, clients undertaking repositioning of their growth strategies and also managing development planning.
Sarita played a key role in representing and managing the Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy both nationally and internationally for a leading government agency.
Sarita holds a number of advisory board positions on pre-commercialisation projects and SMEs.
Sarita holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons), an MBS from Liverpool John Moore’s University and a Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management.
Anne Brady, Business Advisor
Anne is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland with over 35 years’ experience in Public Practice. Prior to starting her own practice Anne both worked and trained with KPMG. Anne specialises in advising companies and has acted as Project Director on a number of construction projects for clients. She is an expert in advising business start-ups, implementing accounting systems and internal controls, fund-raising, and assisting with restructuring and reorganisation of companies.
Anne has an interest in Leadership and has participated in a number of Leadership courses including an Executive Leadership Programme held at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France in 2008 and a Timoney Leadership Institute, Advanced Leadership Program in 2013. Anne regularly attends the Timoney Leadership Institute Masterclasses, some of which are delivered by professors from IESE.
Coaching and mentoring can be effective approaches to developing employees. Both have grown in popularity, with many employers using them to enhance the skills, knowledge and performance of their people around specific skills and goals. Anne is a qualified coach and mentor and has completed the IESE Leadership Coaching Program. She regularly coaches and mentors professionals both in Ireland and worldwide.
Anne is a well-respected member in the accounting community and Chairs the Information Technology Services Committee of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Anne lectures regularly on topics such as Charity Law, Leadership, Information Technology, and Practice Management.
Seán Brennan, Business Advisor
Having served as a hands-on manufacturing industry leader in both SME and multinational businesses for twenty years, Seán brings a further two decades of experience in providing business development, planning, and mentoring services to SME owners and managers. His expertise extends across various sectors, including precision engineering, medical devices, electronics, print and packaging, and many more. With a keen focus on SME growth, Seán has successfully guided businesses in accessing substantial funds from state agencies supporting R&D, export-led growth and productivity initiatives.
Seán’s professional engagements and memberships underscore his commitment to continuous learning and industry collaboration. A graduate in Business Counselling from Durham University Business School, he is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (M.I.E.E.E.) and has previously been affiliated with organisations such as the Irish Management Institute, Institute of Business Advisers and Marketing Institute of Ireland. His contributions extend to Board-level appointments in industry, Credit Union oversight and government appointed technical bodies co-ordinating research in Irish Universities.
Davida Nolan, Associate
Davida was previously HR Manager with AIG Global Investment Group Europe and HR Officer with Ulster Bank Group. In her current role, Davida manages all research, administration, IT, client engagement and reporting.
